The llama breeding process has been done for thousands of years. It's fiber is long, fine and hollow, therefore extremely lightweight and warm. Blending with sheep wool provides strength and stability. After weaving on an electrical loom comes the detailed process of flouncing and correcting by hand any imperfection. 65% llama 35% sheep wool. Dry clean only. Shedding of superficial strands may happen for a time. This is a natural process which in no way impairs its quality. ξ
