Vintage Uighur Silver Earrings

A beautiful pair of Uighur silver hoop earrings from China circa 1900-50.The earrings are finely made with silver. Granulation and filigree cover both sides of the earring in tiny florets. Note some granulation beads missing and thick wire gauge. The Uigur or Uyghur are a Muslim Turkic ethnic group living in Eastern and Central Asia. Today the majority live in an autonomous region in Northern Western China. Anteeka offers one of a kind, vintage jewelry from around the world.
