These silver and niello bracelets most likely come from a city in Greece called Xanthi, while it was under Bulgarian rule in the early 1900s. Xanthi, is a city in Thrace, Greece which fell under the Ottoman empire in the 14th Century. The Ottomans introduced a lot of people from Central Asia to this city which explains the niello work. The two bracelets are matching but not exactly the same size. One is slightly bigger than the other. The bracelets have three settings, so they are adjustable according to the wearer's wrist size. Note: some loss to the niello due to age. Anteeka offers one of a kind, vintage jewelry from around the world. These are authentic antique and vintage pieces that may bear some light imperfections, which we find, only add to their charm!
